This Privacy Policy describes how The Media Creation House ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit themediacreationhouse.com (the "Site") or interact with the social media channels and content we operate (together, the "Services"). It also explains how our automated publishing tools use third-party platform APIs, including Google and YouTube.

Who we are¶

Information we collect¶
Information you provide. If you contact us, comment on our content, or otherwise reach out, we may collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Usage data. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect standard technical information such as your device's IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to operate and improve the Site.
Cookies and similar technologies. The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
Data from third-party platforms. When our content appears on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok, those platforms may provide us with aggregate analytics about how our content performs (e.g. views, likes). We receive this only for our own content and accounts.
How we use information¶
We use the information above to: - operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our content; - publish and manage our own content on our own social media channels; - respond to your enquiries; - measure the performance of our content; and - comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the bases of your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services, and compliance with legal obligations.
Use of Google and YouTube API Services¶
Our automated tools publish our own video content to social platforms, including YouTube, and to do so our application uses YouTube API Services.
By authorizing our application you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What we access. With authorization, and only for YouTube channels we own or manage, our application uses: - youtube.upload — to upload and publish videos we produce to our own channels; and - youtube.readonly — to read our own channels' and videos' metadata (for example, upload and processing status) to confirm that posts succeeded.
How we use it. Solely to publish and verify our own content on our own channels. We do not access, collect, or process any other person's YouTube data, watch history, subscriptions, or personal information.
Storage and sharing. OAuth access tokens are stored securely within our self-hosted automation and are used only for the actions above. We do not sell this data, do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the Services or as required by law, and do not use it for advertising or any purpose beyond operating our own channels. Our use of Google user data complies with the Limited Use requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Revoking access. You can revoke our application's access to a Google account at any time via https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Other social media platforms¶
Where we publish to Instagram, Facebook (via the Meta platform), or TikTok, we do so through those platforms' official APIs and only for accounts we own or manage. Your interactions on those platforms are also governed by the respective platform's own privacy policy.
How we share information¶
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: - Service providers that help us operate the Services (for example, hosting and analytics providers), bound to protect the information; - Legal and safety recipients where required by law or to protect our rights; and - Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify affected users.
Data retention¶
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Security¶
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights¶
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Children's privacy¶
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
